PU "Paisii Hilendarski" is the largest humanitarian higher educational and research establishment in South Bulgaria. It delivers degrees on a wide range of disciplines including Humanities, Computer Science and Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics and Social Sciences, Pedagogy and Psychology etc. The main activities of ECIT Department: Development and implementation of ODL Methodology and ICT as an innovation in education; Provision of educational and training services; Design and production and dissemination of ODL materials; Development and implementation of a learning environment and computer communication as a delivery tool for distance education and training. DIPSEIL Lab is a centre, where a distributed system for individualized learning and the underlying pedagogical procedures to implement, facilitate and promote performance-centred learning experiences in the context of VET, is implemented. In DIPSEIL we have developed distributed PS adaptive LCMS, appropriate for people with disabilities.

UNED

Spanish University for Distance Education (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia) is one of the largest Spanish Universities and is devoted to distance learning (using all communications media) and continuous education. Regarding the number of students UNED is one of the largest universities on Europe with about 160,000 students and near 1,500 teachers. UNED delivers degrees on most disciplines including Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities, Arts and Letters. UNED delivers also many open courses for continuous education, having more than 30,000 more students. UNED is the only Spanish University of National scope and distributed along all Spain. In the last years UNEDs particular teaching methodology incorporates intensive and extensive use of multimedia and communications.

RAVE

It innovates in digital media and design, with a vocationally focused portfolio of courses, spanning fashion, television and broadcasting, interactive product design, architecture and environment design, graphic design, animation, moving image, music production for media and sound design. Ravensbourne is a centre of excellence, as well as industry and skillset accredited. Ravensbourne is a specialist institution with an outstanding track record for its design-led innovation, technology-focused teaching, knowledge exchange and applied research activities. Our strengths include the fact that we are highly responsive to technological change, we provide an agile framework for industry collaborations and with this, competitiveness in education and the creative markets.

UCV

The University of Craiova is one of the high standing higher education institutions in Romania, fostering the scientific, professional and personal growth of almost 20,000 students, guided with competence, professionalism and intellectual generosity by a top flight community of almost 1,000 academics. Special attention is paid at UCV to the development of Lifelong learning programmes offering to adult learner refresher and training courses in line with the national and European labour market profile. We have to mention that, in accordance with the Romanian legislation postgraduate courses aim to extend the qualifications acquired through initial training (Bachelor), and have a different status as the second cycle of the Bologna system (Master). A new department was established at the level of the university which is in charge of proposing and monitoring the postgraduate programmes. At the moment there are 26 postgraduates programmes of which 6 are in-training programmes for teachers.

Geo Milev

Primary school “Geo Milev”, Sadovo, is a municipal school, sitiated in the municipal center in which 234 children are educated. Most of them are from the minority. There are 20 teachers working in the school, including director and deputy. The subsidiary staff consists of 5 people. The school has a modern basis. His basic aim is to help the development of the personality of the students, their socialization, to help them learning basic skills which are necessary for an effective social realization. The school offers upbringing and education under the state educational requirements, reflecting the dynamic of development tolerance of the differences, adequate orientation in the dynamic, constantly changing modern world and creation of responsible behavior for taking part in the social life. It provides assimilation and forming universal and national values, development of the personality and stimulating the creation, raising the status of the teacher and reaching steady development.

Secondary Vocational School for Children with Hearing Disabilities “Prof. Stoyan Belinov“, Plovdiv, is a specialized school for children with hearing disabilities. It has been established in 1925 as being an institute for deaf and mute people. Over the years its administration has been assigned from the structures of the Ministry of Education to Plovdiv municipality, and vice versa. Since 1994, the school has been excluded from the register as a public state property.
In Secondary Vocational School for Children with Hearing Disabilities have been taught on average of 120 children, some of which use the boarding house of the school. The teaching is being conducted in accordance with the general school educational curriculum, when following the State educational requirements. In the curriculum for basic educational degree have been included some specialized subjects such as Speech development and Phonetic rhythmic. Apart from that, there is a special individual educational programme, which is adapted to the distinct individual abilities and deficiencies of the child. This programme is specially designed by experts and the child’s parents. The manner of teaching form is the classroom education.

Sf. Mina

Special School " St. MINA " was founded on September 22, 1951 as "crippled children house - November 7", the aim being to protect motor impairments girls , providing them adequate medical care , prosthetic , welfare and education. Institution operate on the premises built for orphans of the war in 1916-1918 , local in 1948 was taken over by the Ministry of Health. School Instruction was done in the neighborhood elementary school until 1954 , when on the premises was founded school for 7 years. The girls enjoyed recovery in physical education classes and workshops, surgery and recovery treatments in spas and social protection.
Since 1998 the school name was changed from " House School. 8 " in the" Special School SF . MINA "which is currently physically disabled students and neuropshice. Curriculum that teaches students after their deficiency that is suitable for classrooms Neuro is helping school curriculum, and for motor impaired students , public education program.
Teachers and non-teaching school staff, students form a second family for being concerned about all social protection, instruction, education and recovery.

RIA Smolyan

The Regional Industrial Association - Smolyan is a non-profit and non-governmental legal entity founded in 1982 as a typical chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture. As NGO the association is supporting local economic development and stimulating entrepreneurship. It is a motivated local actor participating in all important committees on municipal and regional and national level.

Plovdiv Municipality (PM)

Municipality of Plovdiv is a public institution, that administers the second- largest city in South Central part of Bulgaria – Plovdiv. Municipality of Plovdiv, as a promoter of local policies and an institution, responsible for the sustainable socio-economic development of the city, is obligated to ensure access to education, healthcare, public services, information and infrastructure for its citizens. It’s also a leading educational center in South Bulgaria, that supports 67 kindergartens, 79 schools, 9 universities and 2 colleges on its territory, which provide a variety of skills and knowledge for its students, including ROMA and people with disabilities. Considering its tempting geographic location and its multicultural environment, Plovdiv attracts a lot of people, incl. youngsters, providing them with opportunities not only for educational purposes, but also for realization and self-development.
